Massage Shop Requirements

Due to the Covid- 19 and the regulations by the South Carolina Massage Board:

​

• All massages will be by appointment only - Please call ahead or book online.

• Confirm that the client has an acceptable face mask or one will be provided. The client must wear a face mask from the time they enter to the time they leave the facility. 

• If the client arrives wearing medical gloves, request that they remove these gloves before entry.

• Ask the client to sanitize their hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap and water after entering store.

• Expect your temperature to be taken with a no-touch thermometer to confirm the client’s temperature is less than 100.4°F [38°C].

• Friends and family of the client are not allowed to wait in the lobby.

 

If you answer YES to any of these questions please reschedule your appointment for another time in the future.

• Have you been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by a doctor or a local public health official in the last 14 days?

• Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (fever, cough, shortness of breath or other respiratory problem)?

• Have you had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or someone exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms within the last 14 days?

• Have you been tested for COVID-19? Was the test positive?
